would a obd1 1992-95 starter work on a 2001 Civic LX?? please help!!! Nedd car for school!!

 

Checking www.bkhondaparts.com , the two starters look too different. If you need one right away, then your best bet is probably your local autozone, pep boys, or napa. It will cost you around $50, assuming you turn over the old one.

It is possible just the starter solenoid failed. See https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?p=40087338 . You can buy a kit to replace this at either http://www.nationsautoelectric.com/densoparts.html or possibly the dealer or Autozone et al.
