koni yellow suspension question
I know I will go with koni yellow, but
I would like your opinion on each set I post here.
Koni yellow w/ ground control set
koni yellow w/ H&R lowering sport springs (lowered 1.75"/1.6")
I still want my car to be able to do daily drive but I want it to
drop it down where the outside fender almost meet with the tires, is that possible drop for a daily drive car?
Is the koni w/ groundcontrol better for what I want above or koni w/ lowering springs?
by the way, how low is 1.75"/1.6" on a car?

Koni Yellows are great daily-driver dampers. You can adjust them to your liking. Excellent choice. I'd go with the GC sleeves for their adjustability. What size rims you running?
You can get that tire gap down to your specs with the H&R sports by adjusting the circlip on the shock body. But if you want to be able to adjust to any height then I would suggest GC.
Make sure you are also choosing the correct spring length and width for your application. Pay attention to block height as well...chose the lightest spring for your application...

I would also recommend GC's. I first lowered my Integra with H&R Sports on Koni Sport shocks, and the springs were WAY too soft for the amount they dropped.

i had koni yellows with the h&r race springs in my 99 gsr and the suspension was too soft for me, even with the konis all the way stiff. the drop was about perfect though. i was thinking about replacing the h&r's with ground control coilovers but ended up selling the car.
I am currently running on a set of 14" HX wheels but also
have a set of 15" for my civic as well. I would like to have it drop as low as possible but not to slam it and yet, still get a good daily driving car.
By using koni w/GC, how low (by inches) should be drop and still get good
daily driving car? I was thinking about having the tires meet/even with the fender or a little less. Is that a good choice for daily driving car?
Thanks for those of you input your opinions and knowledge based on your experience.

I'm lowered Neupeed Sports (green)1.75"F and 1.5"R on Koni Sports(yellow) and I hate my fender/tire gap! I was told not to put the clip on the lower notch with any lowering springs, so I did not lol. But I figured that would get me to a 2.75" front drop but again I was told not to do so and that the lower clip is meant only for a sleeve. The front can defintely go another inch to just tuck the very top of the tire. I want a total 2.5" front and 1.75" rear, ground controls are in the near future.
