which welder for quarter panel repairs?
Hey guys I'm planning on replacing my quarter panels and was wondering which of these welders would be good. The gauge of steel is 22 or 20. Or if you have other suggestions throw them at me.
thanks

The Lincoln SP-100 with the flow meter is your best choice. The other Lincoln is a weld pak made for Home Depot but it's still decent. Personally I wouldn't buy any welder that doesn't have infinite control settings. This Lincoln doesn't and has tap settings but it would be decent enough for your purpose. One thing to think about, if this is all you plan on doing then this welder is fine to spend your money on but if you plan on doing bigger things later then plan to save your money and buy more than what you need. Having to upgrade later is a waste of money. Years ago I went from a Lincoln SP-175 and a year later sold it to buy a Millermatic 251. Sold it for way less than what I paid. This goes the same for any equipment you buy.
