The Neverending Story-MR EM1 Build
Whats goin on H-T, this is my build thread. After all the years of drooling over build threads on H-T I can finally start my own. This is not my first Honda but I have loved this platform since I was fourteen. I'm now twenty-two and in the USAF so I can afford to keep up with my hobby/addiction. I had an EH2 with a JDM B16 swap that was turbo'd that I got threw a trade. I searched and found two EM1's around where I'm stationed and went and looked at both. The MR was the better buy of the two it had a stock motor but needed minor body work. Here are the pics of how I got her in March of 2008.

The story behind the grill, when the dealer got it from auction it had a Wings West front bumper and the EM1 grill and lip were to expensive so he said.

Sorry for the crappy cell pics didn't have a camera at the time.
Around June of 2008 a friend of mine wrecked his car and through trading I came across a pair of Tanabe Sustec Pro SS Coilovers. I bought the Blox front and rear camber kit package deal from weaksauceparts.com and took them to a local alignment/wheel shop to have the camber kit adjusted after some friends and I installed it.
Adjusting ride height and installing the camber kits
Nothing really happened till around the holiday season of 2008 when I was on lunch break and noticed my tire was low on air so I went to air it up and noticed that my front tires had massive cracks on them I took my key to see if they were deep and my car key went about 1/4 of the way in. So I ordered tires from Tire Rack 195/50/15. I ordered 15" Megarace wheels from JLB Motorsports, yes they are Mugen knockoffs and they do what I need them to do roll and look good on my car IMO.

Early April of 2009 I went back home and ordered an OEM lip to replace the one that the dealer I purchased the car from never did. I ordered an Egay grill also to replace the LX one.

In about June of 2009 I started gathering parts for the turbo setup I am going to run. I purchased RC440's and a Golden Eagle Vacuum Manifold and a P-28 ECU to start. I then got word I would be deploying to Afghanistan so car progress paused until I was in Afghanistan. Below are pictures of how the car looked when I left it at my folks place(August 2009) for them to watch while I was gone.

While I was deployed in the spare time I had I bought parts, a set of Raybrig Foglights and a 3" K-Teller Exhaust. I also purchased Autometer gauges from JEGS.com and replacement speakers since the ones that came in the car were garbage.
