Default Line-X?

Has anyone Line-Xd their floorpanels? I've heard of it being done and wondered about weight, wear and appearance.

I've had it done, but not on a Honda.

It looked just like Line-X, was probably heavy, and from what I could see, didn't wear at all.

i hope this doesnt start a huge trend but my old car and my buddies integra bays were both rinolined and it was pretty cool, never got scratched.... as far as floorboards go it might rub off by where your feet go from moving them around so much....

I doubt it will be a big trend but I like the way our truck can be wiped down, even sprayed clean. Plus just bare painted floors are ugly.

One of my friends from back home used Line-X on his project Integra's floorpanels. I wasn't too sure about it at first, but it came out pretty nice. He's a member on the board, so I'll see if I can get him to post up some pictures and some more info.

i used spray truck bed liner on my engine bay on my last car.

it looked flat black and never scratched. i loved it myself.

i like the look of a glossy painted bay, but im careless sometimes and needed something stronger

Thanks. That would be helpful in deciding if I do this on my CX. I'm sure I would still use floormats.

yea as long as the grain is finer in the undercoating/line x itself im sure its paintable and you could still get the texture and rouged look with a nice color...
