alright im hoping my issue is fixable i dont have money for a new tranny but here is whats going on. i missed second gear and now its extremly hard to shift when rolling at a dead stop tranny is fine. there is no grinds when i shift it just locks in gear and is hard to pull out even with clutch engaged. another thing i noticed is i cant downshift untill i stop. i have checked my linkage and it looks good. any ideas or just get a new one.

 

clutch fluid level is good? how does the clutch pedal feel?

when was the last time the transmission fluid was changed and are you sure that has not been leaking?

 

clutch fluid is fine and tranny fluid is fine it just dont feel like syncros to me any ideas on what else it could be???

 

check to see how much your slave cyl. moves if it is moving close to a inch or so you more then likely have internal problems

 

had a similar problem years ago ended up being the clutch. couple rivets came loose in the pressure plate.

 

Another idea is a bent 1/2 shift fork, especially on a missed shift. That's when many people bend/break them.

 

This...I've broken/bent the fork/selector on 4 transmissions forcing second gear at high rpms...

 

shift gate might be bent or broke as well. i snapped mine in half a while back.
