I'm trying to finish my D16Z6 swap and the ECU that came with the motor is a 37820-PT3-A04 which i looked up on hondata and its to a 92 accord OBD1 im not sure but will this work or am i on the ECU search again?

 

if you're putting it in ur EF you need to buy a obd0-obd1 jumper harness and use that ECU. if its for that motor i dont see why it shouldnt work. post pics and more detailed information so fellow members can help you.

 

info: 90 crx d16z6 swap trying to finish up wiring and ecu swap to get vtec hooked up i have the correct dist. but i think the guy gave me the wrong ECU not sure its for a F22 Accord. I'll get some pics up soon

 

that is absolutely the wrong ECU. a z6 should have a p28 ECU. You can use a host of other ECUs from the obd1 set to run that engine, like a p06 or p08, but the pt3 is not in that set.

no need for pictures.. you should talk to xenocron and see if you could send him in a pt3 and buy a p28 or equivalent from him.
