lookin for more torque
1995 integra ls... going in my racecar so nothin to extreme can be done. but i wanna get up around or over 150 torque but also not lose to much hp... what ive come across so far sounds like i should put a gsr crank and rods in my b18 lower end and run my b18 head... ive already got a set of p29 pistons but im not sure if thats gonna help with what i am lookin to do... help pls...
People are telling you to replace your LS crank with a GSR? You need to do the opposite. Easiest way is to increase displacement. If you are looking for more torque and don't plan on increasing bore or stroke, you need to start playing with your running length on your intake and some different cams. That could cost some money. Easiest way is just to increase stroke and bore.
well you don't have p29's in your LS block those are single cam pistons maybe p30's
BUT yeah easiest way is stay with your LS crank and increase the bore like list what is done to the engine is it LS vtec
but yes you want to stroke it de-stroking it will make less power/torque but all that at a higher rpm

yes sorry your correct they are the p30... 29s are in my crx... non vtech... should i get a crank and rods or can i just buy longer rods... theres nothin done yet... its got 96k sitting on my engine stand waiting to be build...
well do you want to keep it a full LS or go LS/VTEC?
if you have the money sleeve your block and so you can run 84mm pistons and that should get you more torque do some research on some other builds first though see what they make for power then go from there

Depends on what crank and piston you are going to run. If you are sticking with the LS crank, I'd just keep it simple and run a standard off the shelf 12:1 Wiseco piston or similar, and some standard length BluePrint rods.
If you are going to go bigger on stroke, there are off the shelf options for that as well.

well ive got the p30 pistons... is there a set of rods out there that i can run to stroke it without slappin the valve? any part number you can give me? and if you know of what to get any idea how much it will increase the torque?im new to this bare with me lol
I don't think there is anything OEM you can use. The B20 has an 89mm stroke like the LS, but the bore is larger at 84mm. Like others have mentioned, a larger bore is the best way to increase you're displacement with the LS.
