Another CRX seat question... please help
Ok so I just bought a drivers side seat for my 91 dx. It is either an 88 89 si Im not sure which one it is and I have rails that I was planning on putting on them but they dont fit.(i think they are from an 89) So either the rails or the seat is from an 88 si and im not sure how to tell.. My question is, can you have an 88 si seat switch the pan with lets say an 89 si drivers side pan, then from there do i need to have an 89 si driver side rail? or could i use a 90 or a 91 drivers side rail? could you do that or do you have to match seat pan and rail based on year? because I know that 89 si and all 90 91 dx and si are interchangable but I dont know if you can mix match like that because maybe where the rail meets the pan is different on different years but in the end where the rail meets the floor it might end up being the same so you wouldnt be able to mix match?.. is that true? im not sure so please if anyone colud help I would appreciate it. Thanks all
That is a good question, I ended up on mine, having such a headache trying to 1. find seats for my car 2. paying someone to recover them I ended up puttin in racing seats, which I am not a huge fan of, however they fit my fat @ss pretty well. My one buddy who is a wiz, took my old rails and rigged it up nice and sweet.
on the crx, the 89,90 and 91 all share the same seat rails. I have 91 seats in my 89 model
Not 100% on the 88 model, they may be different, but can't confirm that

ill confirm that they are different. i hate it too everyone makes rails for the 89 90 91 not the 88 damn odd ball.
