Default motorized belt causing battery drain?

Sometime last summer my passenger side seat belt lost it's mind and spends most of it's time in the open position. About that time, I noticed that if I didn't drive it for more than a day or two, I would have a drained battery.

The door switch, which I assume controls it, seems to work fine as the dash door open light works normally. Is there another switch that I'm not finding? Or is there some relay or module somewhere which is causing this?

The problem acts like it's the door switch since giving the door a good solid closing, often gets the belt to run to the closed position. But, it quickly reverts back to the open position. Going over a bump soometimes seems to have an effect. The thing that baffles me most is the dash door open indicator light works perfectly.

I have confirmed that this is the cause of my battery drain by disconnecting the fuse for the motorized belt and get a current drop of 2 micro amps which I do not get when pulling the driver side fuse.

2 micro amps ain't much, but, apparently it is enough to kill an older battery in a few days.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

One other question. How much of a PITA is it to get rid of the ridiculous motorized belts for a proper 3 point manual system as is found on newer accords of this body style? Can I get all the required parts from a wrecked 93, or possibly 92?

thanks,

Pete
