Why is it that the cam switchover in the ITR and the b16a so pronounced compared to the b18c1 (gsr motor). I planning on going an all motor route and would like to know if more aggresive cams/valvetrain would make the cam switchover more pronounced...(just gotta love that jekyll/hyde).

 

I dont think the b16a is pronounced.

 

the Vtec is stronger in certain motors (B18C5 B16A) more aggressive lobes.

i can defintely hear the secondaries at around 5800-6000rpms but at the cross over point (4400rpm) is where I'm asking. The crossover in the ITR is 5800 and is very distinct/ crossover in b16a2 I believe is 5500, which is more distinct than the b18c1
