Intermittent Horn
Hey guys, thanks for your help. I do so appreciate your advise.
My 1998 Accord EX with 125K miles has a horn that intermittently works. There are days it works great, but other that even bashing the airbag where the horn activation is located wont set it off. There are no buttons for the horn, but just push on the airbag to set it off. I push and push at various places and it does hold a tune consistently. There are times it just wont honk.
It doesnt matter if the car is running or not. Nor does it matter if the wheel is turned a certain way or angle. Nothing I do shows a pattern.
Its to a point where it is dangerous and I dont know what to do. I am fairly certain it is not a fuse or a bad horn since, yes, it works great at times.
Any advise or steps I should take?
Many many thanks.
