FT B17a1 full rebuilt, b16 trans swap!!! central, PA
So let me get this straight you want a boosted setup for your stock rebuild? Good luck. And also what chassis are you running so we all know you you would take a Boosted SOHC. I take it you have an eg because no one is going to trade you a boost b series for a stocker. BUMP
Well seeing how it has just had a recent tune up with a bunch of new parts, comes with the chipped and tuned ecu for all the mods ill be including, and is a full swap, that is rare. I dont see why if someone wanted it why I could not get $3k for it. At least $2500, now if you have a single cam in your car and have it boosted and want a dual cam which many people do, this is the trade for them, and would be the perfect candidate.
Yes, motor is currently in a 95 civic.
Please do not clog my thread with comments against me. Thanks

First I am not clogging your thread with threats against you. Your thread was very vague to begin with and you need to leave yourself open to opinions when you post up these threads. yes the motor is on the rarer end of the spectrum but it is basically a B16. So to see if this thread goes anywhere I will sit back and watch it and shut my mouth as you requested. But for a little hindsight turbo your own motor perhaps the B17, as you will have a ton more respect for it and as you know your motor is already legit. Why would you want somebody's garbage that is going to crap out on you when I am sure with a little wrenching and cash you could have that hatch of yours into the 12's no problem. Good luck
Layed off, and in school right now. This engine is my girl, but I am taking a different route. When I wrote the post I realize rereading it, I sound like a hoodlum just wanting some boost. Not how it is, I was more or less posting it up to see what i could get out of it. If i could get a decent single cam with say a full race turbo kit, sweet. If not, then I just wouldnt.
And yes, mine is basically a b16, but without any major mods and all stock internals the numbers are in most cases a tad bit nicer than stock b16 numbers. Either way, we will see what happens.
