Car is 96 GSR

What is the adapter I need to "T" the EDC sensor... It's for an autometer water gauge... I'd like to keep the original sensor too...

1/8 bspt to 1/8 npt?

pretty sure its 1/8bspt just like the oil pressure sensor. i think most people just use npt with some extra teflon tape. if you really want an adapter you can get one from mcmaster http://www.mcmaster.com/#4860k141/=5gicy2 i think it will be tough to find a tee piece with all the right sizes and also there is limited space to tighten a bulky tee fitting.

alternatively you could get a radiator hose adapter off ebay for pretty cheap

 

what i don't like about hose adapter is that it dosen't read head temp... It's on the other side of the thermostat...So if the thermostat jam...

 

not if you put it on the top hose. the top hose heats up with the head

1/8bspt but again its gonna be tough to find all the right adapters and everything. i searched mcmaster for at least an hour looking for some kind of bspt -> npt tee with no luck. also you would need to be careful of the added weight of adapters and tees, it could crack the head similar to when people tee for turbo oil lines in the block

I'm alwready "t" behind the block at the pressure switch for oil pressure... I have put a 6 inch highpressure rubber hose before the "t". Have 40 days of track with that set up last summer and never had any issue...

 

EDC sensor? I could've sworn that was a dampner sensor on a shock that Integras done have.

 

good idea. i always try to remote mount sensors like that as well.

 

Loll! that's funny... I meant ECT.... EDC isin't the Tein thing that aloud you to adjust the damping/rebound of the shock from inside the car?
