Speed ventures Jan 30/31 buttonwillow #13
BTW, how are speedventure events in terms of costs, track time and number of cars on the track at once. They are one of the few associations I have not driven with in California yet.
I'm heading there with my 99 EK - a '00 Si, Blue Pearl, #57 in the open track group, both days.

thats why you sign up for sunday
speed ventures runs a good program, and has alot of events trough the year. Can get crowded sometimes, but so does any track organization with the track is popular.
so the red/advanced group with open passing correct? if so, ill see you sunday, im signed up for advanced group as well

Here's an excerpt from Speed Ventures email to all registered participants as of Thursday afternoon 1/21/10 at 1:32pm:
"Hello Buttonwillow Drivers,
Thanks for signing up for next weekend's event. As of today, we have sold out all spots for both days (except RED group on Saturday) and we have a wait list forming. As always, we won't go over our maximum car counts. However, there are still drivers who want spots for this event and we anticipate more coming in from now to next week."
So the red group is open on Saturday and wait list applies for all else.

at their last event in december,
they mixed the white group with the blue group and created a purple group. so it went...
blue
purple
black
red
it's really not a whole lot different than other events they have does. for anyone that was registered in the white you just get mixed into the blue...

so 4 groups instead of 5, not so bad. they prolly did that since they need time for the miata and S2k challenge sessions
