Civic trunk/gas tank release ??

Im in the process of taking out my carpet.. and i've ran into this.. it seems lik the carpet is wedged under it pretty good.. does the plastic cover bolt/pop off some how ??

there is a screw underneath a plastic tab on the cover.. remove the platic tab and take a phillips head screw driver and remove the screw and it comeso ut w/ no problems..
