Suggestions on some new tires
I'm looking for new tires, the stock size, does anyone have any suggestions. I live in chicago so i definitely need an all weather tire, but i want something that still handles great in the dry weather, yet still is driveable in the snow and rain. I've heard good things about Falken Azenis and Pirelli 7000s or somthing like that.
My friend has Azenis on his civic, loves them. Not good winter tires though. I'd reccomend Toyo Proxes FZ4. My uncle had them on his 96 integra ls, loved them year round. My friend had them on his 95 V8 T-bird, and he still made it up snowy hills in that thing, loved them. Now he has them on his 98 SVT Contour, and he loves how they handle in the summer. They are a pretty old design so you should be able to find some deals. I'd get them but I prefer getting SO-3s for next summer and a set of dedicated winter tires. For now I'll ride out my stocks. Good Luck.
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s if you're looking for bang for the buck. Unsure about how it would handle in the snow as I live in socal. You might want the check tirerack.com for tire reviews from many many people.
What year lude you have? If you need 205 55s get Dunlops SP5000s. They are possibly the best ultra high performance all-season for the money.
The Kumho 712s are not for use in the snow.

I've got the Pirelli P7000 Supersports on my Prelude and I aboslutely love them. The dry handling is excellent, and the wet handling feels like the dry handling on the stock tires
