Because that car is turboed, and he didn't want to block the intercooler, I met that guy before, I went with him to a track event, he has a turboed ZC in there, and that car oddly enough was in Super Street.

I have my license plate like that...

Probably because I like the look and because the stock mounting bracket broke...

Mines like that because i wanted a front plate and thats where i felt like mounting it. Its my car so i thought to myself hell why not put it where i want!!

 

i believe the drifters do that first, they're not moving fast enough, so they need every bit of airflow to the intercooler

 

i also know that drifters started it, and drifting was big everywhere but here, mostly mountainous JAPAN, so go figue, maybe to gulp up more snow from mt fuji, id unno,

but i do think it has to do with JDM drifterness

 

hey that's my friend dave's old car.

Well some are turbo and want to get the best flow to the intercooler others for looks and some sort of style I guess I dont see my self ever drilling holes in my bumper

i put mine on the side cuz the "california" plates dont line up with the JDM front bumper and i didnt want to drill holes in the plates
