i have a 5th gen dc sports stainless steel header for sale and was wondering if it will fit a type sh. i wouldnt see why not, but with the aats will it be a problem?

i think they lengths are a bit off down there... you might have to do some modding.... SH owners ANSWER!!

 

No it will not fit without modification. The Base 5th gen header has a different length collector than the SH due to the SH's different placement of the cat-converter to accomodate the ATTS unit.

That is correct. Pick up a helm manual, they show quite clearly that the header's collection pipe, catalytic converter and cat-back pipe (A and B pipes) are different on the Bases vs. the SH

 

Too bad, he is selling a very nice JUN ss piece. Oh well. What do you guys think of this; I want to modify my stock collector to 2.5" and then down the line, see if I can get my hands on JDM type-s primaries.

P.S. does anyone know the diameter on the type-s collector?
