will obd2 throttle body work??
The sensors on the throttle body will work with an obd0 or obd1 system. The only real difference in the throttle bodies is the fact that the obd2 throttle body doesn’t have the vacuum connection for the charcoal canister. The hole is there but it is not drilled for vacuum. You will need to tee the connection for the canister into the intake manifold similar to the ITR setup. This way of doing things will not pass the visual portion of smog in CA. Although it works the same a good smog tech may fail you for it. just some FYI
I used a OBD2 2000 Si throttlebody on my JDM OBD1 B16 with first gen S2 intake manifold, didnt switch sensors or anything ans it worked perfectly.
