91 Accord can't find exhaust leak
Hi,
My 1991 Accord SE gets an exhaust smell in the cabin when not moving and the fresh air button and fan are on. It seems the fresh air intake is sucking in exhaust fumes when the car isn't moving and keeping the exhaust to the rear.
There are no obvious tapping or hissing leaks around the exhaust manifold, and no obvious leaks under the car when the tailpipe is plugged. The flexpipe was recently replaced and that seems leak-free too (was my first suspicion).
Also, the smell is nasty pre-cat exhaust. Sniffing around under the hood, there may be some leak around the EGR but doesn't seem significant enough. Any suggestions y'all?
Tx!
