Default 95 Accord cluster question?

I have a 95 LX sedan, 6 cyl, auto tranny with abs.

My cluster sticks at 25 mph and only sometimes reads the correct speed. If I drive faster then 25 and snap the trip gear then it will read fine until I shut the car off again.

I read on here somewhere that its the circuit board in the back of the speed unit is the problem, and to snap the trip. Then it should go back to normal. Something to do with the gears catching.

So I was going to buy another circuit board and swap this out. My question is does the circuit board work from any 94-97 accord, or does it have to be from a trim level like mine?

Thanks for your help H-T. Any other advice would be awesome.

The DX- lX speedometer is different from the EX. But since you have an lX w/ ABS, thats the same thing as an EX cluster
