Default 02 Accord Spindle Nut Removal

Hi all.
I have to replace my front wheel bearings on 02 Accord SEV6. Having trouble loosening the spindle nuts as you can imagine. Only tried the drivers side yet. Can someone tell me if there are left or right hand threads on this side?

Regards/Dan

youll see a tab on the nut that holds it in place. hammer the tab back out with a flathead screw driver or similar tool, then remove the nut. fyi the bearings are a press fit type so youll need a shop to do that

put a bar between the lug studs to hold the hub in place, then use the correct socket with a 4 foot breaker bar to free the spindle nut.

or buy a compressor/impact gun with 1000 lbs torque like me

it's a lot easier to just remove the center cap from the rim and loosen the axle nut while the car is on the ground.

but... if you do the method above, make sure you put the lug nuts on the studs and that the bar is on the nuts and not the studs, otherwise you could damage the threads.
