Default Need some springs advice please..

I currently riding a KYB AGX shocks with omni power adjustable coilovers and the ride sucks.. I'm thinking about getting some springs instead.. Im thing about H&R race or Neuspeed Race spring. I want it to ride better than my current setup. I tried sport springs but they are not too low for me.. Anybody want to give they 2 cents about wat spring are good combo with KYB's??? peace

You won't get a softer ride if you go with the race springs. If you go with something like an H&R or Neuspeed Sport Spring then you will definitely have a much nicer ride.

Sport springs usually have a progressive spring rate. So they are softer when you are driving a long and hit a bump, and then they get stiffer as the suspension is compressed like when taking a hard corner.

how low are you currently ? If your tug boat low it might be the reason why the ride is so bad.

It isn't because of the ride height, because that really isn't that low. It is because coilovers usually do not use progressive springs. They use linear rate spring. That is why they are so stiff.

You will have the same problem with a race spring. You need a progressively wound sport spring if you still want a decent ride. You can try adjusting the shocks on your coilovers and that might help a little.

lower = heavier spring rate...heavier spring rate = more aggressive damping requirements, perhaps inlcuding shorter damper bodies.
