i have a 89 crx dx, and its automatic....... i only bought it cause my friend sold it to me for cheap. i only had it for a month and i cant stand driving it.

im planning on swapping in a ZC engine, it seems to be the best swap for the money. im not going to go hardcore, just want something fast enough...

how hard is it to change the tranny from auto to 5 speed?
i heard its not too bad since its cable, but has anyone ever done this?

anyone got some good suggestions besides buying a 5 speed crx? the cars interior and exterior are cherry and already has the full suspension (koni's, bars, etc...) and a crx in similiar condition would be hard to find and cost a lot.

 

well you can buy a automatic zc and then buy a auto si tranny or something im pretty sure that works......shity thing is that it will be auto

or just buy a zc and zc tranny and do the steps of converting the car to 5 speed

i dont about changing an auto tranny to a 5 speed tranny though
