Default LOOK AT MY TIMING BELT AFTER 72MILES ON REBUILD

Hey Its my 95 gsr I did a little rebuild on after misshift. I put back the my used but OEM honda timing belt.
I got a new one just couple days after rebuild but this is what I found out when I took off the valve cover. I drove the car for only 72 miles.

Dont ask just look at pictures lol

I advise you VERY STRONGLY. DO NOT drive that car until that belt is changed.

I cant tell you what it is, but I know that it will rip soon. And you dont want that.

It is probably rubbing the timing cover check all the bolts and make sure the cover seats properly

I had that happen to me on my old DA. My lower timing belt cover was off a bit. Simple fix. I'm glad you found it before anything bad happen. Timing belt<Rebuild (As you know lawl) GL.

must of been a missed lined cover i always check to make sure everything is just the same as when i removed it the last thing you want to do is valve check your motor also torque your cover bolts that could cause that to over tightening they torque to 10lbs

a mis shift from 3rd to 2nd and bent all exhaust valves.

I changed the valves and put good used gsr valves in. Got them seated it. I also changed out the piston rings. I changed the head gasket and intake mani gasket, timing belt, and adjusted the valves. I also honed out he cylinder walls to give it fresh cross marks.

why... are you planning to do something? its very easy once you get into it.
