will using an aftermarket full replacement short shifter made for the FD2 work on a FA5?

i found a thread on 8th that says that it will be slanted towards our passenger compared to it being slanted towards our driver.

It's not a big deal and takes about 20 minutes to get used to the new position. It would take you about that long to get used to one designed to fit LHD cars too. I have the Mugen and it's fine.
