1997 civic ex coupe with a JDM h22 (10.6:1 comp ratio)
Hondata stage 3 (not tuned, running someone else program)
Cross Drilled Rotors
Tokico Illuminas all the way around with Skunk 2 coil overs
ACT clutch and pressure plate
almost retired Kumhos 712's
Iceman Intake
DC sports Header
Greddy Evo Exhaust

What mount kit are you using?

Is it a Type S motor, or just the valve cover?

Got any times for it yet?

The cover was painted by the previous owner, it's a JDM h22 with 10.6:1 compression (stock)

My best is a shitty 14.7@98, still working on it though, I have a shifting problem I'm working out

thanks for the compliments

Ok, basically i have the same exact car as you and i was considering swapping in an H22 also. Is it real bad not having power steering? How is the handling? If u dont mind how much did it cost?

Nice looking sleeper.... but the exhaust kinda (1) gives it away or (2) looks rice on a "stock" looking car

Type S engines come with Dark blue valve covers.

are you SURE? I've seen red valve covered H22 Type S.

I think you're thinking of the Accord Type S or whatever that other engine is from.

the exhaust is there for performance as is everything else on the car (minus slight tint), the result of my ongoing project is the above pictures

the 2001-2 (?) hubs are off my stepmoms car, I had black steelies before, but I didn't like have 14" rims, so I moved up to 15" and just took my stepmoms wheels

the type s motor which was in the prelude came with a red valve cover....the dark blue your thinking of comes in the jdm accord..the f20b engine..
