Finally have time to make a build thread. This time, the project car is 2010 Civic Si with only 2 miles picked up from El Grove Honda. With only 180 miles on the cluster, this baby is already on its way for the transformation...

what are the differences in the japan version trunk versus the usdm?

 

totally different, they dont even line up with your usdm bumper and tailights are complete different.

So how soon to you swap the lights and bumper to make it fit? Will it even close the way it is now?

 

I really like the way the conversion looks, but I could not imagine myself spending all that money on it with just 2 miles on the car.

USDM outer tail lights VS JDM inner tail lights...

 

As some of you might know, outer tail lights would not fit without some modifications. All the info I got online required cutting and trimming to the car itself, but since my civic only have 180 miles, I seriously dont want to take these steps. In this case, I decided to try something new, modified my brand new JDM outer tail lights...
