Checked for power at the brake switch?
Verified continuity of the wire from the switch to the lamp assembly?
Checked grounds?

for real.. anytime you have issues like this, you always check from the device you are activating, all the way to whatever switch activates it.. doesnt matter what it is..

take a volt meter, and have someone press the brake pedal down.. check for voltage at the bulb connector...

if you have no power there.. then check ALL your fuses in your car, just for safe measure, checking the light fuses first...

if all the fuses are good, check the brake switch..

if that is good, then you need to do a continuity test on the wiring, and find where the brake in the wiring is...
