I'm currently in the buying stage of my build and I need to figure out what battery i'm going to use so i can figure out the battery box size.

The motor is going to be 12.5:1 plus, so whats a good compact battery?
The car has no power windows, or sterio or anything power.

so basicly your lookin for a smaller one ?? there are alot of brands that make em oddesy < spelled that wrong .. brail if your lookin for somthing smaller that drag racing forum would be your best bet for ideas there always lookin for somthing lighter

If you can, get one from Batteries Plus, they have a warranty there. I had to replace mine for letting it sit for several months. I cost less than $5 to replace.
