Default B16/ITR Head Skunk2

Zack (864)561-9402
Greenville, SC 29605

B16/ITR head that is fresh with very, very few miles after the machine shop. Has been decked and pressure checked, was told Skunk2 Titanium retainers, Skunk2 Valvesprings, Skunk2 Valves. I'm unsure of the brand, they are aftermarket for sure springs/retainers. Valves may not be aftermarket but are new at least.

Since B16/ITR heads are all labeled PR3, I really don't know which it is. This one is labeled PR3-3. Its stamped 1999, so it would be a 2000.

$600 Cash

I would make sure you have an aftermarket valve train if you are asking 600. I personally would not spend $600 on a head with maybe Skunk2 internals. Just trying to help you out to make sure you get the most from your $$$. If you can verify that its all as you were told minus the springs, I might be interested.

Pic of retainer is attached. They are all serialized from S2. You will have to take apart one valve set to verify everything.

No way to really tell the springs apart because there is no distinguishing features.

Valves are stamped on the valve head.

Yes thats the new S2 Pro Series stuff. The older stuff isn't marked like that. I don't think my supertechs are marked either and they are brand new in the box

Does it have the cam caps? Also, those are stock valves.

$300 Cash picked up tomorrow, you keep the cams. Only because it has stock valves, and your not sure about ITR or B16 which is only seperated by a minor factory port job. PM or text if you want to sell tomorrow. 843-377-3733

Wasting your time? How about when you KNOW what you have then post it up for sale on HT. You want $600 for a pretty much a bare unknown head... with unknown parts, with the exception of some valves (stock) and other mystery parts. Sounds like you should stick to your D series.

The aftermarket valvesprings/retainers are unmarked. Kinda hard to tell what brand they are. Might take it apart and shoot some pics maybe you could tell?

Better job? Son, I work on your Hondas for a living, and I do fine. So you shut your pie hole and come talk to me if you have a problem. You don't have to like what I offer you. Besides you don't know what you got in the first place. It doesn't matter, I bought a head last week for $300 and I spent $780 today for a new complete supertech valve train. So yeah, I guess I have no money left to buy your head that you have no clue what's in it, besides what you were told. Tool!

Footnote: I'm NOT your Buddy.

SeniorG I know where you live.

I hate to say it, but he is very right. $600 for a stock B16 head with unknown valve train? not worth more than $300 to an educated buyer.

That's not long because I'm not in the honda "game". Like I said, I've purchased my cylinder head already, so it doesn't matter to me. Gurley told me you were a pretty legit guy, so you had a rep, and ruined it...with me.

BTW I replied to your rant in homie's D2 Coilover thread, don't bother posting in there and hijacking his thread, if you have any problem further than this give me a call 843-377-3733 or PM me. Good Day. My name is Ashby.....

I have no problem, I deal with lowballers everyday at the shop....This business, you deal with mostly kids w/burger king jobs. I'm sure to this.

Just got a JRSC for the head, may put the motor back together. Not sure..
