Heel - Toe on your Stock Pedals?
I found some stuff similar in the RSX forum, but I couldn't find anything for our cars. I'm looking to go to the track soon (first time), but heel toe seems kind of difficult on the si stock pedals. It could just be because on the street I'm not mashing on the brake pedal, making my heel/side of my foot closer to the accelerator, but I've been practicing heel toe for a few months now and sometimes I still kind of press on the break more when I hit the accelerator, causing a not-so-smooth movement of the car.
My question is: Is it worth it to get new pedals, or do I just need more practice on my technique?

What Ross said. You just need more practice.
Take a look at this quick video I made a while back:

The quality isn't great but it should give you an idea. I am normally much better and quicker with the heel/toe, but trying to drive without hitting anything while heel/toeing and holding a camera kind of slowed things down.

I bought my GF an 07 EX and the brakes are so touchy I have a hard time keeping things smooth when just coming up to a light or something like that...she hates me lol
But when I'm on em hard, it's one of the best setups I've felt once I got used to the e-throttle.
My dads Legacy GT is really nice too FWIW

It's a little tough for me to blip the throttle with the side of my foot because they're so narrow. That's usually the way you heel-toe at less than full braking pressure.
I really have to use my heel with these tiny little feet. But they are great for running in the snow.

but I guess when I go to the track It'll be a lot easier. Thanks guys.

LMAO! ^Those three quotes got me laughing pretty good
^Your size 16s had me rolling
I have size 7 feet but I am only like 5'7". It's all in proportion, but...if I had huge feet at my size I feel like I'd be really uncoordinated, and if I was huge with small feet I think it would probably affect my stability while walking/running/jumping.
I went hiking with a friend of mine 2 days ago, and I was running down the Appalachian trail which is covered in snow and ice. I was literally flying and he couldn't keep up (5'11" w/size 10 feet).

Yeah seriously, the new Civic is the best Civic ever made if you are evaluating it on things like performance, safety, and equipment...you know, what most people look for in a car.
Oh wait, I thought I was on Honda-Tech.com, not Honda-Sucks(except for Civics/Integras from 1992-2000 and CRX).com

Maybe he thought it's so much cooler to pay extra money for a car, and insurance, plus all the other things that come associated with have an Si just to have her NEVER use it for it's purpose, as well as me rarely driving it anyways? lol
