best mods for si?
what are the best mods to get for the si? ive raced couple of si sedans in my eg hatch and only one kept up pretty good so im pretty sure i can get my si sedan as fast or faster than my hatch. what header gets the best gains?

I can tell your new at this. Headers make great gains and they make even better gains when mated to a catback exhaust. ALso a intake is a good investment for the money.
No cat will allow better flowing exhaust producing more power. The skunk 2 header is good, vibrant is good, kidd racing isnt bad for the money, the new Invidia has a 70mm collector which is nice. You want a exhaust that is free flowing. If you want the most hp gains then get atleast 2.5" piping. Most of the intakes are teh same just preference of name brand and if you want a Cold air or short ram.
Flashpro is a great thing that will tune all your parts and get you the most outta the motor and the parts you have. If you have the money and wanna stay N/A get some cams and you will be sitting pretty.
They make other items to add to the list of go fast parts, you can use a RRC intake manifold, Get a spoon throttle body or get a 06-08 tsx throttle body and send it to max bore to have it bored out. All these things listed will help hp and tq gains but the more you have the better everything works.

^^ almost same as the hondata flashpro. It all depends on what you want, they each have some slight differences but Hondata has Honda in its name, also they've been doing Honda/Acura for forever. Cobb is know for Nissan and Subaru
With the exhaust, headers, and intake you might get an extra 15% gain in horsepower if you are lucky.
With a turbo you can easily get an extra 60% horsepower. If you try a little you can double your horsepower, and if you try really hard you might be able to triple your horsepower.
So go with the turbo.
However, you could easily get 300 wheel hp with the stock engine and gearbox with a turbo.
The turbo is by far the best value for adding horsepower.
yes it is but when you have to buy the kit, then upgrade clutch flywheel and get a good *** tune, and have it installed. Its way more then 4K its like 6 or so thousand. Also with all that extra power it really really prematurly wears the engine and when some breaks b/c of that fancy fan, it cost lots of money. People generally dont blow motors b/c bolt ons, but they do however when they ahve a boost controller and just keep turing the **** up! especually when your new at modding.
I doubled my hp, (around 400 at crank, 360ish at the wheels), not tracking it, but definitely a lot of boosting. I've got 7k under my belt, and no serious problems aside from the more frequent oil change (once every 3k instead of every 10k, lol)
and having a 900 dollar header hitting your subframe because you make too much power for the ingalls etd to handle, this 14 dollar mod is not a bad addition. a cheaper alternative to buying those p.o.s es inserts.
ewww, why epoxy? thats like an 85a shore grade hardness. Thats overkill. Stick with the window weld (around 60a-65a shore grade) It's more than enough for me, its more than enough for the 650whp beasty.
