My wife's Acura 2005 TL has an issue with the automatic door locks. They will unlock fine, but we have to lock them manually.

We took the car into the dealership and they said it was the Multiplex Unit, actually they had a different name for it but I asked if "Multiplex Unit" was another name for it and he said YES.

Has anyone replaced the Multiplex Unit in their Acura TL or Honda Accord? If so, is it a job that I can do? The dealership wants $640 + tax!!!!! BTW, does anyone know where I can get a shop manual for this car?

The multiplex is just basically the interior fuse box on the driver side, you can get a repair manual from helminc.com or call them at 1-800-782-4356
