Power steering hoses 2001 Accord
1. Remove the 2 bolts holding the pressure hose on top of the power steering pump.
2. You should be able to reach and unbolt one of the brackets (red arrow) holding the rubber bushing attached to the hose near the top.
3. Jack up car and place a large drain pan underneath near the steering rack.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector to the power steering pressure switch (blue arrow is power steering pressure switch, which is attached to pressure hose at the green arrow). You will re-use the pressure switch, so get a new o-ring; but, remove the switch after you removed the hose.
5. Unbolt the second bracket (red arrow) holding the rubber bushings attached to the hose which is closer to the steering rack.
6. Then disconnect the pressure hose fitting connected to the steering rack. A flare-nut wrench (also known as a line wrench) will help, as it grips more sides of the fitting. But, a regular wrench will work too; just be careful not to round off the fitting.
You will see most of this after you jack up the car.
