Injector sizing
i want to get some input on this build and see what everyone thinks about what size injectors to run.
this is my build now...
B18b1 obd1 (9.8:1)
P75 ECU w/Neptune base tune (for now)
Forged rotating assembly (pistons/rods/bearings)
T57 trim turbo w/.50a/r
Manual boost controller
SS Ramhorn mani
Stock intake mani
Walbro 255 pump
Skunk2 fuel rail
Hondata 4 bar MAP
AEM wideband o2
750cc Injectors
2.5" exhaust w/o cat (RS-R GT2)
i want to push around 300whp. anything anyone would change? i spoke with one of the best tuners around and he wouldn't give an exact number to run. another reputable tuner said to go with the 1000cc's but that is way to big for this build right?

for 300hp, you wouldnt need that big of injectors.. 500-600cc should do it.. you could probably do it with DSM 450 cc injectors, but your would probably be running a fairly high duty cycle
well, they will still not work right, as they might easily put TOO much gas in the car, causing a hard-to-tune condition... you really want your injector duty cycle at around 80-90, if i remember.. and if you use injectors that are too big, the duty cycle will be ALOT lower, and probably just let too much fuel in..
you can go with the 700 cc's, but i wouldnt go any higher.. that should get you WELL abve 300, if tuned right, of course

no, your tuner is absolutely right 1000cc INJECTOR DYNAMICS injectors! search around, tony 1 put a set in a BONE STOCK ls with an intake and gained 7 whp and idled better than stock!!! and with 1000cc ID's you'll have tons of injector left when you go bigger. also ditch that 4 bar map and get a 3 bar since your only looking for 300whp, that will be way more annoying to tune than 1000cc ID's
