2006 TL for parents, good replacement shock, Bilstein option?
Hello,
My Dad has an 06 TL and I know the factory suspension has too much low-speed damping for his or my taste. I've dyno'd OE 350Z/G35 shocks and see/feel the same thing in terms of damping.
I rebuild/customize shocks for a living (Bilsteins specifically) but haven't seen a replacement Bilstein available for his year. I do have some new Accord Bilstein HDs (from a late 90's era, have to check the p/n) though I assume they won't be compatible with his suspension. I would lean toward KYB GR2s (usually they have decent damping for factory springs) if a Bilstein solution isn't possible.
Thanks for your input!
