98 accord idles fine, sputters and shakes when throttled
Okay,
My friend just rebuilt his f23a4 in his 98 accord and finally got it reinstalled. We got it to start but now it starts and idles fine until the throttle is applied. It starts to sputter and shake pretty bad and just seems like it has no power (very, very little response from throttle). It throws the p-1259 code (vtec system malfunction). It is the ULEV Vtec. Anyone have any ideas on what might be happening?
