how do you check if 97 CL has same part# as 94-97 accords?
The problem is that acura uses different part# than honda even if it's the identical item. (example: gaskets, bolts, belts, ect...)
My brothers 97 CL had a slight electrical fire(no flame just smoke) behind the dash. We took out most of the dash and some of the main dash harness is burnt up. There are not many CL in junkyards that I could go strip for plugs/harness but are several 94-97 accord at the junkyards.
Question:
If anyone can find out for me for FACT, is main DASH harness (the one that goes through firewall of each shock tower and plugs up the cluster/climate control, auto shifter) the same?
* cash incentive for those that provide good helpful info or part# ect....($5-10) lol

It probably isnt identical due to the electronic climate control found on the cl. I did source my radio and flasher plugs off an accord for my 97 cl though. my best guess would be that the cluster pugs are the same, not sure.

I can't tell if it's just one part# or multiple.
For= the accord diagram. I think we need #13 $516.60
For the CL diagram I think it's #6 $719.84

The climate control is what's going to **** you up.
Accords all had analog while the CL had digital, I'm going to wager most of that stuff isn't going to swap over in the center section. The cluster, radio, etc should all work though.

I find them in junkyards all the time on ebay, check it out. I'm always looking for a nice leather interior and i've seen more than a few cl's being parted out. If you can find one at a upull yard you'll get a good deal even though it'll be a pain in the ***.
