ok first off thanks in advance now on to the headache i have a b18c1 with itr pistons with p28 chipped with chrome i had a under load pinging/valve rattling problem so i figured i would go to my local speed shop and get a valve adjustment so i did. drove home thinking damn this thing is responding better no rattling perfect!then a couple weeks later the noise slowly returned. so i took it back they said they would look at it they said they are loose and a rocker arm had siezed so i bought a new one. they pulled off the cam replaced the arm did the valve adjustment again and called me and said its done. so i left work to pick it up drove it about 2 miles back to work sounded good.next day going to work again sounded fine till my car got to normal temperature the same pinging noise returned so i wentt back today they said everything looked good and maybe it could be the vtec solenoid so they swapped that out still the same! now there telling me its detonation and i need and fuel pump and regulator and my plugs are white so i am running lean .please can someone shed some light before i buy more **** i dont need right now.i was thinking maybe its off timing from when they pulled the cam off sorry for the length of this entry nut i feel all this information is needed for proper diagnosis thx guys in advance

 

You need probaby need tuned, at least have someone check your ign timing.
