Default honda del sol heater blowin cold air

alright well winter came and my car started overheating after i drove it for about 15 minutes, drained radiator and refilled with 50 5o coolant and put on new thermastat car no longer overheats however my blower motor went bad the other day and i replaced it and it blows hot air sometimes but mostly blows cold air......my car temperature runs really cold.....i cant drive an hour to work and the car never heats up and the heater works when it warms up but when it goes cold it dont work.....any ideas....heater core maybe even tho i dont know what that is just seen it on here holla at me n let me know whats goin on cuz iti cold out here man

Make sure the fan isn't turning on before it warms up. Bleed any air out of the system.

did you replace the thermostat with an oem honda one, or a cheapo advance autoparts/autozone type? its quite possible the one you put in there is defective. even when its 10 degrees outside my car fully warms up after driving just a few minutes. before i replaced the thermostat the car would never reach operating temp unless i was idling and not moving.

naw fan rarely turns on i jumped it to make sure it works tho and it does and i done bled the air out of the system but the thermastat deal yea i bought advance thermastat

i typed that wrong tho i bought the thermastat and havent installed it yet cuz i wanted to see if it would quit overheating with just buying new coolant but yea its advance should i try to put it on to see if it fixes my problem or should i take it back and get honda oem one

oh you haven't installed it yet? and yes you may want to go ahead and install it.

as long as its not the cheapest t-stat available then it should work fine. my friend said the $12-$13 stant t-stat are pretty good and he's never had an issue with one in the cars he's installed them in.

ok i have the same problem, heater blows cold, fan turns on when i want it to its wired to a switch, mishimoto thermostat, it was working fine then all of a sudden it blows cold any advice?
