Default Help With Wiring!!

Ok, so i have a 92 civic dx with a d15z1 vx motor running the vx ecu, all work was done by bone head prev owner....now the fun stuff.

This is the first question, what is this plug? The wires go to the ecu and connect to a greenish wire and a purple wire (see 2nd pic)

Now the wires here (orange/whie and orange/blue) has a "jumper wire" spliced into both of them.

VX motor and ecu but vtec isnt hooked up.....wonder why (i know im pointing at something other than the vtec connector but what im pointing at is also just a wire pluged into it and spliced into the wire harness.

Well, what kind of trasmission did it have. These wire may have something to do with the tranny if it has different versions of automatic.

Not sure exactly what plug you're referring to in the pic that you're pointing at.

As for the other ones, could it be for the O2 sensor? Since the VX doesn't use the "traditional" 4-wire O2 sensor. Use this link to try and find out what pin it goes to on the ECU:

Ok so looking at the schematics i see that the "jumper wire" is on pins:

A4- Vtec Solenoid
D6- Vtec Pressure switch

The 2 wires that are pluged into a connector in my first pick are connected to pins:
D8 and D16 both say they are for 02

honestly, you should get the right connectors and wire it up properly. With that mess, who knows how how well it's wired up (bad connections and such), especially with the splicing. Try to find some connectors at a local junkyard and redo it that way.
