Hey I was looking into getting some HID headlights for my 09 accord sedan, and I was wondering if someone could let me know what is a good quality HID headlight?

 

Plug and play or retrofit?

 

which ones are better? I mean I would like to do it myself but I would like to know what is really good out in the market?

 

ive got some off a supporter form another forum. the make was bada bling. good make had them for about 8 months now.

Retrofitting projectors from a car with OE HIDs is always always ALWAYS better than a "plug & play" kit.

 

i see, so what are some good brands to look into? and how hard is it to retrofit? and are there some sites i can go to for a lower price?

 

Retrofit will cost $500+ and I would personally leave it for to the pros. You get a nice cutoff and don't blind incoming traffic.

HID conversion kits can be bought from ebay for $50 and up, its a very easy install but don't light up the road as good as a retrofit set. The light is usually scattered. As they say you get what you pay for.

If you decide to go with a PNP (not the best option, as most would say) look for DDM Tuning's $30 Raptor kits, not the 'bada bing' $140 set WTF is that?

Since you have the seden you don't have the projectors.. which is a bummer... you could retro fit a projector from another car.. *Tsx, s2k.. etc* but Its $$$... but if you want a simple nice clean kit.. plug and play i go with

I've used there kits for years!! .. never had one problem what so ever.. just pm if you are interested in purchasing them.. i work very close with the owner..

If you can afford it, the retrofit is always the number one choice.

Many people can't justify spending so much on headlights and go the HID route. This is fine, just remember to aim them properly to be courteous to other drivers.
