never thought it would happen to me but sadly it has... my 96 gsr got stolen outside a friends house today.. from the times 12am-5am... in chicago illinois it was parked on roscoe and lincoln right by wriggly field.. its a 96 gsr with a jdm sir-g front end... white sunflower rims, skunk2 exhaust and a type r wing.. if you see anything please let me know...

Damgit, theft of the week. Sucks on your loss, man. GL finding it. I hate to see one go to the thieves, especially a 96 DC2. Mine was stolen a number of years ago but recovered without much loss -- hopefully you will have the same luck.

thanks guys... no security i have a garage but it didnt help cuz i was at my friends house... but damn.. its a pretty busy street with lots of lights and police patrolling all the time so i didnt expect it to happen...

That sucks. Even with a busy street and cops, it only takes a couple minutes to jimmy and scoot away. Especially when they don't have an alarm to deal with.

Sorry to hear that man...I'm going through the same thing. I bought a clean 2000 GSR a little over a month ago and it was just stolen Thursday night. I live on a busy, well-lit street in Philly, and the cops found it stripped to the bone in Camden, NJ. Worst part is I had valuable snowboarding gear in the back. I just hope my insurance company gives me what the car is really worth.

sorry for both of your losses. i'm glad you both got something back from the theft. that helps a little bit. i hope both of your insurances make it right. i hate to see another teg lost to theives. please in the future invest in some security for your car, it may save you from going through this again.
