Wheel bearings are going out on the sol, swap to rear discs now?
Ok, the rear bearings sound like damn propellers.... it's bad. Now I'm stuck. Should I just replace them, or should I go ahead and do a rear disc swap? What all is required for the swap, and from what cars? Anyone selling a swap ATM? Where is the best place to get the bearings if thats what I go with? thanks in advance for all the answers guys
also which rear wheel bearings should I go with, there are several different ones when I search. Anything in particular that I need to be looking for?
Replace the wheel bearings, unless you have someone willing to sell you the rear disc swap real cheap. If you were to do the swap, I believe you would need the rear disc assembley, the proportioning valve, and im not sure if you need the master cylinder or not. If you're anywhere close to Delaware, I have 2 complete rear disc swaps. PM me if you're close and interested. It would be much easier and cheaper to replace the wheel bearings.
