Default problem with my SI gauge (rpm)

ok i have this problem. long story short i have a 99 civic SI i took the cluster out and sanded the bak of the RPM gauge so wen u turn the lights on it becomes brighter wich looks very good btw. As i was about to do this i thought it was the 2 lil blak screws in the front u needed to remove then i removed the ones in the back of the cluster where its green. as i picked it up the lil mechanism in the bak moved around on me and moved the needle as well. now wen i put the key in the ignition and turn it jus so u can put the windows down and see the oil light and batter light etc. the needle on the rpm side moves up a little. its not suppose to move and stay at zero until i actually turn the car on. Is there A way i can reset this sum how bak to where its suppose to b at zero .

HELP PLEASE AND THX !!
