Hi all,

Recently i found a used JDM EK3 4drs fenders for sale. I need to change mine because i got some fitment issues(previous owner replaced my fenders wit Taiwan made parts).

So I need helps from you all to tell me whether the front parts or other parts such as headlamps, bumper, interior etc. from an ek 4drs no matter what spec will fit to an EK 2drs hatch or not.

My local shop don't really keep alot of 2drs parts due to alot of them are driving 4drs civic.

I know diff years like the 96 97 are diff from 98 00

 

sorry guys, i forgot something, mine is a 96 JDM EK 2drs hatch wit sir bumper style.

basically is it the round headlights or the square ones.. as long as the headlights are the same the fenders will be the same.

model years can get screwed between here and japan. but it comes down to old style/new style, round/square respectively.

 

meaning that any 96-98 prefacelift EK 4drs front part can fit on 96-98 EK 2drs

and

99-00 facelift EK 4drs front part can fit on 99-00 EK 2 drs?

 

yup.

easy way to check is search collision repair sites for parts. if they use the same part number for both body styles, or don't specify body styles.. you are golden.

any decent retailer should give you a guarantee over the phone.

 

but i cant find any no. on the JDM EK3 fender, normally is located at the bac of the fender.

 

so wait, you have the ek3 fender? which is off a 4dr?

and you are driving a usdm ek hatch?

 

no. I have a EK3 fenders which is from a 4 drs and iam driving a JDM RHD EK 2drs.

 

my point is tho.. you have both the fenders and the car.

so why didn't you just try to put one on?

 

sorry to confused u ,what i mean is, the fenders are actually on sale at one of my local site, so now i wan to make sure everythings will fit without any issues before i buy.

yeah the whole front end, and fenders between 2dr and 4 dr and hatch are the same.

again, as long as the headlights are the same.

 

haha sorry man. now idk whether to go for 96-98 front or 99-00 since i will take off everythings for allignment. any suggestions.?

Indeed, it will all fit as long as it's the same front end style (either 96-98 or 99-00).

I prefer the older style, but I'm biased. It's up to you!

 

i like the 99-00 front end, but i don wan to spend money on the new style. would like to keep the money for my engine.

guys, how about other stuff like interior, or engine.?
