Stick a screwdriver shaft threw the maintenance hole located just behind the gear on the Balance shaft. In the image you provided, the maintenance hole is circled in red. This will give you leverage to keep the shaft from turning while you loosen the bolt.

IIRC I used one of my 5-6" hardened steel Allen keys. The tq specs are 22 lbf-ft for the front and 18 lbf-ft for the rear.

I just did this yesterday. I bent the first screwdriver, cause I used a long one and tried to let it bind on something. So just use a regular screwdriver, stick it all the way into the hole and just hold onto the handle. You should be able to get it off, it isn't on very tight.
