Whos Running the Hytech Replica B-series Header
Who is running the Hytech Replica Bseries Header? What have your experiences been with the Header? Are you happy with the performance gain to cost ratio? Has it help up well? How long have you had it?
I have searched but looking for more info.

I have one it does have a very low clearence mine has dented in a little bit at the bottom. Not enough to make a difference in power because of the dent. They are great especially for the money and with the right supporting mods and a tune it will work exponentially better. Get some all motor high lift cams/cam gears/ and a fuel system. Throw in some dyno time and hondata and you should see stellar gains. There a great product!
For me its over a OEM manifold. I have read every hitech replica thread, but looking for more info. I might even sell the replica and stay oem.
Anyway if you have one of these Pipe Up with your experiences.

I've also heard good things about RMF replica, I'm in the market for either a Hytech or RMF replica. All the graphs I've seen show improvement with either header over OEM ITR 4-1. Both need mods to fit your exhaust though.
I bought mine off of KTeller.com. I had no problems with clearence issues or anything on my B16 and current GSR. It made pretty decent power but recently picked a Six Sigma Racing street sweeper for cheap and couldn't pass it up.
I finally got tired of dealing with the crappy quality and poor fitment and threw it in the dumpster. Never even made it to the dyno. I had offered it to my friends for free and they just laughed.
i got one on my 1994 gsr, slipped together fine, but i didnt like how the flange was flat, it was pointing down and made the exhaust all wierd, so i heated it up and lowered it on a jack and let it set till it cooled down and it is fine now.
power wise,
same day same mustang dyno with corrected numbers, a 93 vx hatch jdm gsr swap dont smoke and low mileage, sk2p im, edelbrock header, full exhaust, lightweight flywheel, no cat and intake put down 149hp
my gsr with 170xxx mile, smokes in vtec, with sri, hytech rep header, 2.25 greddy dual tip exhaust, and 9.5 lb flywheel put down 153 hp.
considering the health of both motors and him having the after market intake manifold, i'd say the hytech rep. header was good for almost 10 hp. The dyno guy was saying most gsr's with basic bolt on's normally put down 140-145, i'd say without the hytech rep. header, it'd put me at probably 145ish. I know every car is different, but just a example of the power the header gives.

I think your exaggerating here. Im sure a lot of people would take a replica for free, who wouldnt? They aren't that bad for the price. In the $300 price range they give really good hp increases over other brands ( DC, JDM ITR etc. ) If you weld it together where they join you eliminate leaks, and if your car isnt ricer slammed it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
They do make good HP (narrow tube) nobody can deny that.
It sat in my garage for three weeks and I offered it to every one of my friends. They had seen the fitment issues and all passed. I'm sure some baggy pants wearing broke-*** kid might have grabbed it, but no one with a real job was willing to take it. Not worth the cost/quality trade-off.
